In May, the Agora Lookbook is fully dedicated to the peony, a flower that symbolizes abundance, softness, and the peak of the spring season. Paeonia originates from Asia, where it has been cherished for centuries for its rich bloom and elegant appearance. Today, it has become a key flower in European floristry, valued for its short yet intense seasonal availability.
The creations in this Lookbook are designed by Nikki Surinx of Atelier Vérité. As both a wedding and event planner and florist, she combines her background in the socio-cultural sector with a strong creative and organizational vision. Empathetic, detail-oriented, and driven, she translates stories and emotions into unique floral experiences.
Three shades of pink
The second creation is a vase arrangement where Paeonia soft salmon saucer, Paeonia ‘Flame’ and Paeonia ‘Alex Fleming’ come together in a soft, intimate palette.
A minimal approach that allows the natural beauty of the peony to stand out. By combining two varieties across three tonal shades, the composition evolves into a harmonious bouquet with a distinctly romantic character.
At grower Trian in Graefswinning, seasonality comes to life. Their cut peony ‘Red Grace’ is harvested depending on weather conditions in the first or second week of May and is exclusively available at Agora Group. Trian’s peonies are a tribute to craftsmanship and the rhythm of the season.
“Freshly cut peonies arrive as if they were picked straight from your own garden.”
