All-round Store and Cash Register Assistant
For our Cash & Carry in Kontich, we are looking for an all-round store and checkout employee to strengthen our team.

Responsibilities
You’re a true all-rounder, combining customer service, checkout work and store support.
You:
- welcome customers and make sure everyone feels welcome;
- advise customers on flowers, plants and accessories;
- scan purchased products;
- process payments correctly and ensure smooth checkout operations;
- answer phones and help customers further or refer them to the right colleague;
- handle administrative tasks such as orders, customer details and sales documents;
- prepare orders for pickup;
- ensure the store always looks attractive, tidy and well stocked;
- monitor the quality and presentation of flowers, plants and accessories;
- support commercial promotions and actively contribute ideas for an optimal customer experience;
- work closely with your colleagues to deliver the best results day after day.
Skills
You don’t need to know everything yet. We consider your motivation and attitude at least as important as experience.
You:
- get energy from helping customers;
- are enthusiastic, positive, and service-oriented;
- work accurately and take responsibility;
- switch smoothly between different tasks;
- are a team player who also takes initiative independently;
- have an interest in flowers, plants, and decoration;
- speak Dutch fluently and can also help customers in French;
- have experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service? A nice plus, but definitely not a must.
