We are an ambitious family business within the international ornamental horticulture sector, where collaboration, short lines of communication and entrepreneurship are central. Every day we connect growers, customers and markets, and we continue building a strong and future-oriented organization.
To further support our growth, we are looking for a Plant Buyer with commercial flair, knowledge of the sector and a keen eye for quality as well as opportunities.
Responsibilities
You’re close to the market and know what’s going on. No day is the same: one day you visit growers, the next you negotiate prices or think along about new opportunities within the product range.
Among other things, you will be involved in:

- building strong, sustainable relationships
- negotiating price, quality and delivery terms
- putting together and optimizing the product range
- spotting trends and new products in the market
- working with sales teams to make a real commercial difference
- organizing and optimizing transport and deliveries
- analyzing sales data and monitoring quality
Skills
Someone who thinks commercially, likes to take initiative, and feels at home in a dynamic environment where quick decisions are made.
In addition:
- you have experience as a buyer within the plant sector
- you have a strong affinity with plants
- you have strong communication skills and negotiate with confidence
- you work analytically and are results-driven
- you are flexible, hands-on, and like to roll up your sleeves
What we offer
At Agora Group, you’ll join a warm, family-run business with international ambition. An environment where you’re given freedom, can take responsibility, and truly make an impact.
In addition, we offer:
- an independent commercial role with plenty of variety
- direct involvement in the market and collaboration with leading growers
- room for initiative, entrepreneurship, and personal growth
- a dynamic and growing organization with short decision-making lines
- attractive employment conditions
Can you already see yourself driving around between growers, spotting opportunities in the market, and helping to build a strong assortment?
