Responsibilities
As a quality inspector, you are responsible for checking all incoming (cut) flowers from growers and the auction. You play a crucial role in ensuring quality and keeping our logistics process running smoothly.
Your tasks include:
Receiving & inspection
- Inspecting and registering incoming flowers
- Informing those responsible in case of deviations
Quality assurance
- Taking samples of the delivered flowers
- Deciding whether or not to allow flowers to proceed in the logistics process
- Identifying and resolving deviations
Administration & communication
- Recording deviations and processing them administratively
- Communicating with internal departments (purchasing/sales/team leaders)
- External communication about quality deviations (in consultation with purchasing or sales)
- Resolving administrative discrepancies
Skills
- MBO-4 level of work and thinking
- Demonstrable knowledge of flowers is required
- Experience with computers and digital systems
- You have strong communication skills, are accurate and eager to learn
- You work well in a team and take responsibility
- You have a flexible work attitude and can anticipate changes
