Davy Fredrix
Even as a child, Davy was often busy with flowers. The passion for floral art developed quite quickly and, thanks to his experience at the Horteco Horticultural School of Vilvoorde, this hobby further grew into a full-fledged profession.
After his training as a florist, Davy worked for several years in this capacity at the Royal Estate. During this period, he was presented with a unique opportunity. In collaboration with some colleagues, he took care of the decoration of the official visits of Norway, Italy and Spain to our country. His cooperation in the decoration for the wedding of Prince Laurent and Princess Claire also allowed him to gain valuable experience. As a flower arranging teacher at the CVO Elishout in Anderlecht, he also had the opportunity to take on and carry out several challenging assignments. In his experience, each assignment invites a creative search for ideas, for the right choice of flowers and greens, technique, form and construction. In the midst of all this natural beauty, you don’t count your hours….
In the meantime, his passion for flowers has matured and when you have a passion, it is a shame to keep it to yourself… So he started his own flower store in 2013, ‘Puur Passie’. Since then, he has been sharing his love of flowers with his customers in a warm setting where you can shop and get ideas in peace. But also where you can come and make your own flower arrangements at will.
