IT Support Specialist
Agora Group, of which Floris Holland is part, is an international player in the flower and plant sector. Our trading never stands still, and neither do our IT systems. To keep our daily operations running smoothly, we rely on Florisoft. For our IT team, we are looking for a service-oriented colleague who knows this software package inside and out and provides optimal support to our internal users and customers.
Florisoft is the backbone of many ornamental horticulture businesses, and because this package touches all processes (from clock-based purchasing to export documentation), a good support specialist is worth their weight in gold.
As an IT Support Specialist, you are the first point of contact for all questions and challenges related to Florisoft. You support colleagues in purchasing, sales, and logistics. Because we have many French-speaking colleagues, you switch effortlessly between Dutch and French to clearly explain and resolve technical issues.
Responsibilities
- First-line support: Answering users’ questions about using Florisoft.
- Optimization: Setting up new functionalities, print forms, and integrations within Florisoft.
- Troubleshooting: Analyzing and resolving disruptions in the integration with the time clock (EAB), webshops, or logistics systems.
- Training: Providing explanations and instructions to (new) colleagues in both Dutch and French.
- Liaison role: Maintaining contact with Florisoft’s software developers for more complex reports.
Skills
- Knowledge of Florisoft: You have experience with Florisoft (preferably in a wholesale environment).
- Language aptitude: You are a native Dutch speaker and have a thorough knowledge of French. You can confidently assist French-speaking users.
- IT affinity: You have a passion for software and understand how database-driven packages work.
- Location: You preferably work from Belgium, but candidates from the Netherlands are also encouraged to apply.
- Communication: You are patient, service-oriented, and can explain complex matters in a simple way.
