Team Leader

Floris Holland is an important part of the Agora Group, a leading company with more than 40 years of experience in the flowers and plants sector. We have 23 cash-and-carry businesses in Belgium and France and 3 purchasing locations in the Netherlands. Our location in Aalsmeer plays a crucial role in the preparation and dispatch of (fresh) cut flowers, composed bouquets, decorative greenery and plants.
Responsibilities
As a Team Leader at Floris Holland, you are responsible for:
- Accurately and efficiently preparing flowers and plants for transport, together with your team of 15–30 employees (permanent and temporary).
- Determining staffing requirements based on the weekly schedule and daily production/dispatch.
- Checking and arranging tools and materials, and ensuring an efficient inflow and outflow of packaging materials.
- Allocating tasks, instructing employees and temporary agency workers, and monitoring progress.
- Recording production activities, resolving administrative discrepancies, and reporting to the box manager.
- Upholding company and safety regulations and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Skills
- At least MBO level 4 working and thinking level.
- Leadership experience, preferably in the flower and plant sector.
- Commitment, strong communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, accuracy, and the ability to plan and organize.
- A positive, people-focused and professional attitude.
- Good knowledge of flowers and plants.
- Computer skills.
